Below is a link to my Photobucket album containing several short video clips of the service from the beginning to the end. Please understand that I am not a professional video shooter and that this video was shot with a small Sony Handycam. If you have issues with vertigo you have been warned. Otherwise, I feel that you will be able to view the clips and get a good feel for the service and the mix and mingle with the greyhounds and their fosters who attended. There are two pages of videos to view.

:)

I failed to mention that the actual service is split into two videos and is marked as such above the video files. Also, the videos are arranged in chronological order from beginning to end. :)

I could only watch the first 2/3 then I needed to take a break ... Thank you so much for the huge lot of effort that went into taking and posting all that video footage!! It can't have been easy, especially under the circumstances. It truly does give a sense of what went on. I'm not sure that it's necessary to comment more than that -- we're all processing the the sadness, love, appreciation, sorrow in our different ways... so many prayers, so much hope for more healing for the survivors and the families of the angels...

thank you

Thank you for sharing...I didn't get through them all yet, but I did get to see Nicole. I have a soft spot for little shy red girls (I've been a mom to 2 of them) and I thought she did really well under the circumstances. I will watch the service at home because I know I will shed more tears...

I still have not mustetred up the courage to watch all of the videos I get so far and then start crying soon I hope. Now have to try later in the week have a PCP appt. tomorrow and a podiatrist Saturday and they both pick up on anything and everything that is bothering me they don't need to see red eyes.

here are some of the bells that will be sent to Texas - do not know who is getting what as I had help wrapping them and now I am putting them in boxes

Thank you so much for doing this! These hounds made such an impact on me and I am grateful to be able to watch the memorial!

I shot the video with the sole intension of posting it on GT for ALL of you who kept these hounds in your thoughts and prayers and for those of you who donated money and items to help with care that was and is still being given to the Fort Worth greyhounds in GALT's hands. I feel as though it is the least I can do to show how much we (GALT) sincerely appreciate what the support of the GT community has meant to all of us in Texas. :thumbs-up

The greyhound community will always come together to help a needy greyhound or group. I am thankful that I could do my little bit for both auctions. BTW I mailed packages today for the up coming auctions on Carpe Canem for GU and GALT with a few bells inside the boxes. The rest of the bells I hope to ship on Friday that is if I don't have to work..
