I am on my 2nd bag of the new formula (I have used the old formula for years), both of my boys are now shedding like crazy and their breath is horrible. They both seem to always be hungry now as well.

Anybody else having any problems?

going thru my 3rd bag of the new formula, no problems. the days are longer and the dogs are blowing their coats....so get the brush and curry combs out and help the shedding along. as to the mouth....feb. is doggie dental month....i guess the the advertizing and marketing industry realized that the dogs are indoors and confined to close quarters so the decided after smelling one of their own dog's breath that it's a good month to promote dental care! chip off that tarter and see if there is a difference and brush away.

Try a different food & see if it clears up.

Bad breath can be caused by bad teeth and/or stomach issues.

That's what we feed everyone and we haven't seen any problems.

I have been brushing them, they are just shedding more than they EVER had. Both of them had dentals less than 2 months ago. I am a bit of a worrier so it is probably just me :) Thanks for your comments.

sounds like a quick call to your vet couldn't hurt. easier to ask them than to go crazy. mmmm....it's the winter, maybe some digestive enzymes or probiotics...but do check w/ your vet especially since you just had the done. maybe a gum infection....
